Last entry from China...

Okay, I know it's hard to believe, but this will be my last entry from China. A few brief updates: Monday I went to Korean BBQ for dinner and had my last day at the World Bank; Wednesday I went to a Peking duck restaurant; Thursday I went to an awesome Greek restaurant and totally splurged on a delicious dinner and then went to a bar with friends; and last night, I went to karaoke and then to the 4:30 am flag raising ceremony in Tiananmen Square, squadron of PLA soldiers included. I finished classes officially on Thursday and had a farewell banquet yesterday. Today I spent sleeping and procrastinating. I really should pack, considering that tomorrow I move out of the dorms to a hotel, from which I go to the airport early Monday morning. I suppose I should take this time to deeply reflect on my time in China, but I've resolved to let myself relax a bit. I don't necessarily have to find life-changing experiences in this summer. I think I grew as a person, etc., but I also think I just had a really awesome time in Beijing, and I knwo how to live abroad better next time I do it. Thanks for all the emails and blog comments I received throughout these two months-I really appreciated the support. I look forward to seeing some of you soon. Take care!
